29/08/2022 During the past 24 hours (August 28-29, 2022), the rectorate and the operational staff of the university focused their efforts on solving the following tasks: Prepared and sent a letter to the SpaceX company regarding the compliance of the PolyITAN-30-HP satellite with US security requirements; A letter was prepared and sent to the company with which KPI cooperates in the field of high technologies with the support of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences, regarding the introduction of changes to the Calendar Plan and estimate of the concluded Agreement; Scientific groups from NN IEE and NN IPSA prepared and sent to Latvian universities on behalf of Igor Sikorsky KPI letters with proposals for joint scientific projects; Specialists of the civil protection department, together with representatives of the departments of economic work and property and social issues, will continue to perform work on arranging and equipping the shelters of educational buildings and dormitories of the campus. Contracts for the purchase of a chance instrument have been concluded. The state of engineering networks in the basements of educational buildings was checked; Specialists of the fire safety department performed an examination of the primary fire extinguishing means in the educational buildings and dormitories of the campus; Employees of the security department, together with representatives of the police of the Solomyansky district, conducted a tour and inspection of the University’s critical infrastructure facilities and strengthened security measures in the educational buildings during the period when applicants submit original documents; Employees of the Department of Economics and Finance continue to improve the territory of the University. One certificate of copyright registration for the work (NN ITS) was received; In the dormitories, the process of settling/resettlement of senior students continues. Humanitarian aid was received – antiviral and pain-relieving medical drugs. 25/08/2022 During the past 24 hours (August 24-25, 2022), the rectorate and the operational headquarters of the university focused their efforts on solving the following tasks: Under the chairmanship of the Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Oleksiy Shkuratov, a meeting of the Council of Vice-Chancellors for Scientific Work was held, at which topical issues of the scientific activity of universities were discussed, including competitions for scientific research works; Proposals were sent to the State Concern regarding the possibilities of scientific groups of Igor Sikorsky KPI on current areas of cooperation; In order to update the “Regulations on the organization of work with objects of intellectual property rights in Igor Sikorsky KPI” developed a methodology for determining the level of intellectual property readiness IPRL (Intellectual Property Readiness Level) for technology transfer; Specialists of the Civil Protection Department, together with the heads of the structural divisions, developed and approved schemes of movement to shelter in educational buildings. According to the results of the meeting, a technical proposal is expected regarding the possibilities of involving the university’s scientific groups to participate in the project of rational energy consumption by eco-transport; A letter with a proposal for a joint scientific project was prepared and sent to the address of the University of Latvia by the scientific group from the FSP; Specialists of the civil protection department prepared materials for additional staffing of shelters in educational buildings and dormitories of the campus. Specialists of the “Polytechnic” physical education and sports center repaired the engineering networks for the installation of boilers in the women’s and men’s showers, large swimming pool.
